Health is paramount above all else, and all the dogs in our breeding program are health tested and OFA certified prior to breeding. This map shows how many Cavalier Dogs are posted in other states.
Our ultimate goal is to produce puppies that do this wonderful, loving breed justice in both looks and personality. We have since developed our own breeding program where we strive to produce quality puppies as we search for our next show prospect. We were fortunate to meet some amazing people who were willing to help us get started in the breed, and it is largely due to their influence and encouragement that we were able to pursue our passion of showing dogs. We purchased our first Cavalier shortly afterwards and dove into actively showing Conformation. The long ears and bright, round eyes were too much too resist. Our first impression of these wonderful dogs came in the form of a Cavalier gazing adorably up at its handler while they waited ring side for their class to begin. They get on well with other dogs both large and small, and can adapt to life in a variety of settings. Originating from England, these little dogs have a strong desire to please their owners. When we became interested in larger events and began showing in AKC events, we encountered our first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a classic toy breed known for being one of the top 20 breeds to own in the United States. Sadly this means bad breeders and puppy farmers take advantage and breed them with no regard for their welfare leaving owners and dog rescues to pick up the pieces. They have the happiest, kindest nature and love everyone. Our introduction to the sport began when Rheanna started showing her Shetland Sheepdog in our local 4-H club. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is one of the UKs most popular dog breeds. We are a mother-daughter team who have a passion for raising and showing dogs. Dogs with extensive health concerns and deemed otherwise unadoptable will have a sliding scale. Rogue Valley Cavaliers is located in the beautiful Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Each adopted Cavalier King Charles Spaniel will go home with a Mine Pet Platter, harness, and leash.
